• The leather gloves found in the game are not "real" leather gloves, they are mittens, the real leather gloves are the ones obtained through the recipe for disaster quest.
• When you log in you always face the same direction.
• There is a dog in south Falador that will eat bones you feed it.
• You lose weight when you eat something.
• When you eat cabbage it says, "You ate a cabbage, Yuck!" But as you eat alot of it, it starts to taste better.
• The cabbage in the Draynor Mansion taste better than the normal cabbage and give a +1 def bonus.
• When you use a raw herring on a tree it says, "This is not the mightiest tree in the forest."
• Opening a skill menu keeps your prayer and pot bonuses from draining, this trick also works at the Rogues Den.

• Runescape is rated among the most popular online games in the world.
• The world in which Runescape exists is not the land of "Runescape" the correct term for "The World of Runescape" is Gielinor.
• Runescape Classic was released on January 4, 2001, and Runescape2 was released March 29, 2004.
• Work on Runescape began with Andrew Gower working on a program in 1998 known as DeviousMUD. With the help of his brother, Paul Gower, the game evolved into Runescape and was released in beta version on Jaunary 4, 2001; running out of their parent's house in Nottingham.
• Jagex mods can create items in their inventory, modify their skills, go to any location in the game, walk through scenery, and onto any terrain.
